Another Brand New Day

We often talk about a new year, new month or even a new season as an opportunity to recalibrate or to execute certain objectives in our lives on a level that had been previously dormant up to that point.

Well, in light of yesterday being the first day of summer, I took a brief assessment of where I was in 2019, what I’ve been doing and what I’ve actively neglected.

With less than six months until the end of this decade (think about that on an intrinsic level folks), I decided that I was going to hold myself a bit more accountable and do a few purposeful things to not only help myself to meet the rest of my goals for the balance of the year, but to ensure that I continued to make myself a propriety.

I did that by documenting a list of ways that I will commit to taking care of myself:

  1. Unapologetically saying “No”
  2. Forgiving
  3. Laughing LOUDLY
  4. Eating Frozen Yogurt
  5. Hydrating
  6. Journaling

Remember, no one cares about you the way that you do. With that reality in mind, what will you do to carry yourself safely and effectively into your new season?
